Megan Kizer is quickly becoming one of the standout real estate agents in Jacksonville, building her business on something that cannot be manufactured — genuine relationships.
A Florida native with deep roots in the Northeast Florida area, Megan brings a calm, thoughtful approach to real estate that clients immediately notice. Her ability to listen, understand, and guide people through major life decisions has become the foundation of her growing success.
A foundation built on people
Before entering real estate, Megan worked in education, where she developed the ability to read people, communicate clearly, and build trust quickly. That background still shows up in her business today.
“I’m a part-time therapist for my customers,” she says with a laugh. “But it translates really well. I take the time to understand people, not just the transaction.”
Her people-first mindset is not just a philosophy. It is how she runs her entire business.
From family influence to full-time career
Real estate was always close to home. Megan grew up watching her family navigate the industry, and when life shifted, she stepped in to help grow the business.
She officially obtained her license in 2023 and quickly began building her own pipeline while learning the ins and outs of the industry firsthand.
The results came quickly.
In her first year, Megan closed over $6 million in volume across 21 transactions and earned the Better Homes and Gardens Gold Award for production.
A business built on relationships, not transactions
One of the most unique aspects of Megan’s business is that it is entirely referral-based — something many agents take years to achieve.
She attributes this to her focus on always putting her clients first and maintaining genuine, long-term relationships beyond the closing table.
“People can feel when you care,” she says. “That’s what makes the difference.”
Beyond real estate
Outside of work, Megan stays grounded in what matters most — family, relationships, and giving back.
She spends time traveling, exploring new places, and volunteering with local organizations such as Feeding Northeast Florida and the Landmark Title Foundation.
Her life outside of real estate reflects the same values she brings into her business: connection, consistency, and care.
Looking ahead
Megan is focused on growing her personal portfolio, continuing to serve her clients at a high level, and eventually building a team of like-minded professionals.
But no matter how her business evolves, one thing will stay the same.
“I really love working with people and helping guide them through homeownership,” she says. “That’s what it’s all about.”
